Scrunchie Crochet Pattern

 This is a Beginner level pattern that takes less than 30 minutes to complete. These Scrunchies are the perfect first crochet project for absolute beginners.



Beginner Level. This crochet project takes less than 30 minutes to complete.

Supplies

  • Hook size: 5.0mm

  • Weight 4 yarn (I used acrylic Red Heart Super Saver)

  • Scissors

  • Crochet Needle

  • Hair Tie

Stitches Used

ch - chain

sc - single crochet

sl st - slip stitch

dc - double crochet

Pattern Starts Here

Start by creating a slip knot and sc onto the hair tie.

Row 1: sc around the hair tie until the entire hair tie is covered, sl st into the first sc

Row 2: ch2, place 2dc in each stitch all the way around, sl st into the ch2 space and fasten off

Use crochet needle to weave in ends.
