Worm Crochet Pattern (Garden Friends Series)

This pattern is a beginner level pattern, this cute little bendy worm makes the cutest bag charm for a friend or family member! This bendy worm is part of my Garden Friends crochet series. If this is your first project or one of your first projects, don't worry! This cute little worm is super easy to make. And, if you are in a hurry, it's a quick work up! 

Supplies: 

  • 4mm hook
  • weight 4 yarn (lighter pink, darker pink)
  • stuffing
  • scissors 
  • 6mm safety eyes
  • crochet needle
  • jewelry wire
Abbreviations for the Garden Friends Series:
  • st - stitch
  • r - row/round
  • ch - chain
  • mr - magic ring
  • sc - single crochet
  • inc - 2 stitches in one space
  • dec - crocheting 2 stitches together
  • hdc - half double crochet
  • BLO - back loop only
  • f/o - fasten off
  • * - repeat section
  • [] - total stitch count at end of row

Start the pattern HERE:
you will be working in continuous rounds (no sl st)

*with light pink* 

Start by: creating a magic ring

R1: sc6 in mr [6]

R2: inc6 [12]

R3-R7: sc12 around [12]

-place safety eyes now, between R4 and R5 (2 stitches apart)-

*switch to dark pink*

R8-R10: sc12 around [12]

*switch to light pink*

R11-R26: sc12 around [12], stuff as you go

-cut wire the length of the worm at this point. place inside-

R27: dec6 [6]

-finish stuffing, f/o, weave in end to close hole-
